Air Rescue

I have been incredibly fortunate to have the photography opportunity to capture a wide array of photo moments involving military, air rescue, and air ambulance helicopters.

These moments have allowed me to witness the power and grace of these aircraft, from flying over the Port of Dover to gracefully touching down at the Dover Coastguard Station which is situated against the stunning backdrop of the White Cliffs of Dover, an iconic location that adds to the charm of the scene.

A normally unannounced event where the chance appears to capture these helicopters in action and presents a brilliant photogrphic opportunity for photographers.

Reculver Towers Herne Bay in Kent

The striking twin towers of the medieval church at Reculver stand as a remarkable feature against the skyline of Herne Bay.

Once a site for one of the earliest Roman forts established to defend against Saxon invasions, it later transformed into an Anglo-Saxon monastery before becoming the parish church for Reculver.

Opened in 2021, the Marina Curve has created a vast new outdoor space for the public to enjoy and has revitalised the waterfront. This exciting waterside development is brimming with activities, entertainment, and top-notch food stalls for every photographer to explore. 

The charming paths, vibrant flower beds, vintage street lights, and breathtaking views make the Marina Curve a perfect spot to unwind in the warmer weather. An incredible array of food and drink stalls awaits, offering delightful local specialties in Clock Tower Square and along the pier, just in time for the summer season.

The Dover Lifeboat Station

The newly established Dover Lifeboat Station is strategically situated on the western side of the Port of Dover in Kent, an area known for its breathtaking vistas and rich maritime history.

This prime location is perfect for all photographer enthusiasts and casual visitors, and it offers a unique opportunity to explore the RNLI lifeboat station as well as its charming shop filled with various RNLI merchandise.

The RNLI City of London II is prominently anchored in the harbour right in front of the Lifeboat Station, providing an excellent photographer opportunity for capturing stunning photographs, especially during sunrise and sunset when the light enhances the beauty of the scenery.
